Its a nice way to put things in perspective and it does help you focus. It actually got me thinking and made me realize that I need a lot more clarity in life. We have so much going on, on a daily basis that we fail to think properly or in detail about things that actually matter, including happiness.

My word..for this year would be 'respect'. In the broader sense, respect for every one and everything. Most importantly respect for myself cuz thats something we tend not to do. There's a lot of focus on being humble which is good. But being humble doesn't necessarily mean you dont respect yourself. My aim is to acknowledge my efforts and struggle and try to be a better person all the same. My aim is to respect my relationships, with everyone. Be it my work colleagues, my family or my friends.

It was good to read your blog. I visited your profile after quite a while now. Looking forward to reading more of your thoughts.

I went and had a reading done by her yesterday afternoon- just for fun and she did the scary "losing your mind, eyes twitching, mouth spasming" face with me too, telling me that I need to meditate "once every ten days"!
Thanks for your post Nic. For me, I enjoy helping people do/be better and if my knowledge helps them do better then that's an awesome added bonus!
